World Literature PACE: Web Resources

For Ms. Laura Shelton's class.

Quality Resources

Don't be afraid of information you find on the Internet -- just be cautious! There is lots of credible information freely available to you on the Internet. Everything listed here is "librarian-approved" so you can be certain it is quality research. It's a good habit to check with your professor when you find a website source you would like to use in any research paper.

Learn how to Evaluate Internet Resources

When using the Internet for research, it is also important to learn to correctly cite the websites you have used. Get used to copying urls to paste into your citation and learn to look for website authors and copyrighters.

Internet Research

(Comic strip image by Pirillo & Fitz: a young boy wearing glasses and holding a paper marked with the letter grade "F" asks a woman, probably his teacher, "Whaddya mean all my facts are wrong? I copied everything straight off the internet!!")
