I can't check out books to a student?! Why not?

Read the entire screen.

Is the system telling you that the student's card is expired?

If the card is expired, you need to renew the card through the spring semester of the current school year, ex. 2022-2023 school year renewal date is May 15, 2023.

While you are are renewing student's card, update student's information, i.e. email address, phone number, home address, etc. 

Save record.

Now, try to check out books. The system should accept the check-out now. 

 

Book won't check in!?!

If you are trying to check in a book, and the system is telling you that the book cannot be found by the barcode inside the book, then close the book and flip it over to the back cover. 

We have been trying to update barcodes on all of the books in the collection. The book you are holding may have a newer barcode on the back. This barcode will have the old name of the library in blue at the top. Use this barcode. 

When you have finished checking in this book, please remember to mark through the old barcode inside the front cover.
